AMD IOL
One-piece hydrophilic acrylic lens made for pseudo-phakic patients suffering from maculopathy.
At the center of the IOL a small diameter area with highly positive power has been obtained, which can only be activated by approaching the writing at a distance of about 10cm.
PATIENT SELECTION
- Patients motivated to recover autonomy for short readings (eg clock, expiration date, etc.);
- Binocular macular degeneration preferably with vision between 0.08 / 0.12;
- Simulation pre-surgery with iol sf. + 10.00 to evaluate the patient's suitability for the implant;
